Holly Winters is primarily a painter of acrylics and oil on canvas, although she produces digital images as well. Her work is often a minimalist style, but she does paint in a representational style as well.

"I paint in a minimalist style, yet I think it works in that the forms in the image are not overwhelmed, but rather allowed to breathe. The simple forms that evolve from the original spontaneous continuous-line drawings I use as templates for my paintings are symbolic, often recurring motifs that evoke meaning for me. They are forms from my unconscious mind which give rise to conscious ponderings on the preciousness of all life whether that be physical manifestations or immaterial ones as hinted at through my titles."
