ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Visiting Hallstatt in Austria was one of my dreams come true. The entire travel through Austria - from Pörtschach am Wörthersee to Hallstatt - was the chase for a dream, through a dream landscape. I wanted to visit Hallstatt for to reasons: the breath-taking landscape and the ossuary. Both delivered. Hallstatt is a place where time runs in a different manner. Actually, one can feel like in a parallel universe and I hope this image can convey that sensation. Photography is my way of catching glimpses of time, for preserving memories and for showing the viewers that there's a different world beyond what we see.
