ABOUT THE ARTWORK
I saw this fragile looking grasshopper on a summer afternoon milling around precariously on the platform of Harajuku station in Tokyo. Hoping it wouldn't get squashed by the communting hoardes, I took this picture and moved it to under a bench, where it immediately hopped out from and back into danger. Hopefully it made it out of there alive! This is a triple exposure on 35mm and if you look hard enough you will also see my Japanese pet Husky 'Kuma'. The original artwork is is signed and numbered on the back. Printed on Giclee Hahnemuhle Photo Rag paper, which gives it a textured almost hand drawn feel.
