The untouched forests that were explored by the first peoples and the older generations that lived before, hold untold stories, secret paths to hidden and pristine rivers and waterfalls and forgotten plant medicine. Caribbean artist with influences from beautiful and vibrant biodiversity in her home country, Trinidad and Tobago. Having a playful and dynamic artistic style that is experimental, she explores different styles, from using vibrant and fauvist inspired palettes to a monchrome. She is primarily inspired by Chinese landscape ink paintings that have evolved into a more contemporary expressive style. Photography has been a long time interest of the artist since she was a child. Recently, she has been dedicating more time to exploring this new form of art. It has been an enjoyable journey in understanding the world from a different perspective, compared to the creative process of painting, which she is accustomed to.
