This work depicts a dreamy image of a woman watering a bonsai tree. She is standing in front of a double glass window filled with paper wrapping, candys and school cones. The work represents the notion of time, seen as past, present and future and the hope which is always omnipresent in each stage of time. Past being predicted by the remnants of a school initiation party draped in a window. The present being the woman at the window and the future, which is represented by the watered bonsai tree. I choose to use windows in my work, as they represent freedom, hope, and a gate to another world or consciousness. Whatever I place in the window becomes associated with that symbolism and therefore can be associated as either an amplifier for positive change or a warning of an obstacle to it. The medium is photography.
