The genesis of this work came as a part of an interlude from an underwater project entitled Coexisting with Water, where I returned to traditional photographic techniques. Using water as the subject in the darkroom, I produced a series of Watergrams. Water has the ability to retain memory on a molecular level. Apart from the split second it takes to make the exposure, I work in complete darkness to produce these images. This process allows me to let go of my creative control; for the composition to form organically. The prints are museum-quality, using K3-Ultrachrome pigment inks on Daguerre Canvas and are printed in limited editions. They are shipped with a hand-signed and numbered certificate of authenticity. Limited edition archival prints are also available. For further inquiry contact . Stretching & framing are also available.

Hello! I am a photographer and visual artist currently based in Goa, India. My work predominantly explores water – from afar its a seemingly simplistic element, but the more I've engaged with it through my work, the more mystical and astounding it has become. I explore the nature of water and our coexistence with it using multiple photographic mediums to bring my concepts to life. Alternate sizes & images available for purchase.
