About the Artist

Frank Verreyken

Belgium

Frank Verreyken (b. 1954, Belgium). I live and work in Antwerp, Belgium. I’m a painter and a photographer.
I don't follow a set line, and am not turned in a certain style. I am detached from all pigeonholes. I always create my work from a desire to create. That desire can be emotionally or intellectually driven. The form itself is subject to that specific, immediate desire. Whether it's photographic work, charcoal, or paint, it doesn't matter. My integrity is always there because I don't make work to please. I am always grateful that people, from all over the world, sense, appreciate, and respect that.

I participated in several group and solo exhibitions all over the world : London, Washington, Santa Monica, Budapest, Los Angeles, Milan, Berlin, Brussels, Dresden (see : exhibitions)

Collectors bought my work from the USA, Canada, South Africa, Germany, Austria, Holland, Belgium, and France
