ABOUT THE ARTWORK

This photograph by Ukrainian artist Ivan Tsupka is a bold depiction of a woman, her unflinching gaze fixed on the viewer, prompting self-reflection on contemporary ideals of femininity, social constraints and the assertion of personal empowerment. The deliberate lack of clothing challenges traditional ideas of modesty and conformity. Through this striking visual composition, the image serves as a catalyst for reflection on the complex interplay between self-expression, societal expectations, and individual empowerment in our modern world. The photograph acts as a powerful symbol of personal agency, inviting viewers to scrutinize the boundaries imposed by society and ingrained gender roles. The contrast between the woman's bold choice of footwear, her defiant posture and the direct gaze of her blue eyes highlights the complexity of modern femininity and the bold act of asserting one's identity. Museum quality collectors limited edition prints signed by author, available in several sizes and comes with certificate of autensity
