As kids we were mesmerised by kaleidoscopes, they were a window into new visual worlds of shifting colours and changing moods. Fascinated by shapes leaving an imprint and memory in your mind much like the glimpses of people we come across, sometimes only for a fleeting second. The kaleidoscopic series is a collage of photographs of the female form pulled from past archived photo shoots deconstructed and playfully re-assembled and re-ordered into considered chaos, a pop blast detonation, body parts repeated into rhythmic patterns, formed and weaved into shapes that are bizarre yet familiar and beautiful. Images that had been discarded and forgotten in time only to be transformed and rejuvenated, twisting and turning, continuously shifting our perspectives like a kaleidoscope. This work lens itself to being showcased in as large a format as possible. We are, therefore offering the limited editions unframed at 120cm x 120 cm. The full detail of the work can be most appreciated at this size. We can also offer the work mounted on Dibond which is a lightweight composite of aluminium and PVC. This would have battens or a subframe on the reverse to mount the work. Shipping of this work would be calculated by location. Please request a price for shipping by emailing us at . TwoSons Is a collaboration between longtime friends Stephen Perry and Farhan Baig. Together they have re-imagined their photographic library to make thought provoking artworks. The female form along with social observation is deeply layered within their work in which inspiration is derived from past experiences, channelled fragments from memories and references to pop culture. TwoSons work by fusing traditional methods with technology in a variety of media to produce work that is both visceral and playful, while always striving for the beautiful. They move away from any simplistic compartmentalisation of their work and strive to express themselves through mystery and invention. Stephen Perry and Farhan Baig live and work in London, graduates of Bristol University and Portsmouth respectively.
