Two bumblebees dine on a ripe persimmon. I think this scene can represent in its own way the animal instinct that also belongs to the human being. The agreement between the parties for a useful common purpose.

In Daniele Testa's works we find ourselves in silent environments that convey calm and tranquility. In his still life composition games, the eye often goes to the element of dirt, of imprecision, which makes the image more real, less artificial. Daniele points his gaze beyond the superficial layer of his subjects, whether they are animated or inanimate. His visual narratives are not intended to inform or amaze and do not ridicule the photographed subject but have the function of inspiring the observer and bringing him to total immersion for a moment. It is as if the fruition of his images required a little patience, the time necessary to free the mind from the confusion from the noise of thoughts. In this dimension the observer becomes a fundamental part of the work and a meeting point is established, a sort of communication, between the work and the observer. The subjects of his images are people known by chance or they are elements taken from nature or they can be objects of daily use. Sometimes it is a color or the consistency of a material that attracts Daniele's eye, other times an understanding is born from a conversation with a person, almost an alchemy, which turns a little later into a portrait not only of the natural person but one would say more than his spirit and his energy.
