Contact us.Born in Rome and active since 1994, Alessandra Minotti is a professional photographer, visual artist, and master printer. Following her artistic and photographic studies, her career began in analog photography, taking over a professional photo laboratory where she personally realized fashion, still-life, interiors, and wedding photography, while managing the entire workflow of chemical processing and high-end professional printing
Since 2010, she has evolved her creative style into an articulated compositional structure that evokes continuous motion. Through multiple exposure, and the creation of visionary, surreal and dreamlike artworks, based on sophisticated digital compositing and the integration of advanced post-production technologies, she moves beyond a single moment to explore the depths of identity and the constant flow of time
Living and working in Spain for eight years (2013–2021) deeply transformed her perspective; this full cultural immersion redefined her visual language and her way of approaching photography. Today, she travels worldwide to document diverse cultures and places while continuing to create her visionary artworks. Her process bridges tradition and innovation, blending analog techniques with digital painting and high-end Giclée Fine Art printing on Epson SureColor SC-P20000 with premium Hahnemühle or Canson® Infinity papers.
In her work, she creates surreal narratives that explore identity, the human condition, psychoanalytic themes, and social awareness, focusing on issues such as violence against women, well-being, and the environment. Her work has been extensively exhibited in solo and group exhibitions in Italy and abroad, featured in monographs, books, art magazines and displayed for six years at the Saatchi Gallery in London.
She serves on the Juror Committee for the International Awards Associate (IAA), contributing to the judging process of major prestigious international photography awards.
She is available for commissions, including bespoke fine art portraiture—personalized works that interpret the subject through her signature surrealist gaze—as well as interiors, editorial assignments, and professional photo editing
