L é O N is an emerging multidisciplinary artist, based in Amsterdam. L é O N has had the need to record things from an early age. To give the fantasy the upper hand and to capture his own perception of daily subjects in his own picture.
After years of having had architecture as a subject, the urge to capture emotions again was unavoidable. From portraits to still lifes; everywhere he sees and translates this subjects into colorful perceptions of reality.
His artworks vary in material and technique. He captures one subject in mixed media and the next in a combination between mixed media and painting technique. It al depends on the colors and emotions it evokes and those are always central in the chosen subject.
