Lake Michigan Awakes Summer moonrise over Lake Michigan was captured at 1:30am. This view is from Michigan's Upper Peninsula faces south-west and capture the stunning reflection of light over the lake. I'm drawn to scenes like these where light and darkness become one and interplay with each other. This is a time exposes of 3 seconds which was just enough to capture all the tonal beauty of the scene.
