About The Artwork

No Rain is the debut series of Harshtistas, a collaborative art duo project. Our intention was to gather the complex outside world of nature, bring it inside, and strip it down. The series is meant to reveal how simplicity can be beautiful, but with the paradox that nature is, in fact, an intricate and elaborate system. Our delicate aesthetic was inspired by the exquisite and fragile world of botany. We also took into consideration that shadows are just as alluring as the subject itself and can sometimes even be more appealing. As artists, we live to create something out of nothing. Inspiration and beauty are everywhere and we believe that making and sharing art is what connects us individuals together. Stay harsh.

The Harshtistas are two fused into one. Due to their diverse backgrounds and cultures, this unique duo found in art the means to merge and express their voices. Choosing Guadalajara, Mexico as their creative bunker, the artists are dedicated to creating abnormal, nonconforming artworks that require a moment of thought and reflection. They are known for their abstract and ethereal style, coupled with a ludic narrative. Inspired by Philosophy, Socialism, Psychology and the incredible work of Mother Nature, the partnership seeks to critique the Modern lifestyle that has become so deeply embedded in us. The Harshtistas live to create something out of nothing and believe that making and sharing art is what connects us individuals together. Stay harsh!
