PRINT DESCRIPTION ------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Leaves on a String" The string of leaves brings us from outside the frame to the focal point of the image. The deeper tones of the agave are exaggerated by its highlighting. An overall softening of the image makes this mysterious and dramatic. PRINT DETAILS ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The metal print is made by infusing dyes directly into specially coated aluminum sheets. Waterproof, scratch-resistant surface makes for Metal Prints the most durable of mediums. The print includes a 3/4" inset frame with a french cleat that enables the art to float away from the wall. This metal print will be signed & numbered on the back and will include a Certificate of Authenticity. Other sizes avalable upon request. Please note that the estimated production time (delivery time not included) is 10-15 working days as this limited edition artwork is made to order.

Brandon LeValley (1954) is a photographic artist from the United States. In 1976 he graduated from Washington State University where he studied Art. His passion for photography was fueled early in life when he was still shooting film and utilizing a darkroom to process images. Holding a final print offered a world of experience seeing how the light on a subject materialized. Years later he realized the digital camera had revolutionized processing. Today, he converts most images to black and white and shoots botanicals for their dramatic line and shape. He’s also drawn to architecture and landscapes. Living near Joshua Tree National Park provides many compelling compositions that come from his explorations. While his journey in photography has evolved, his passion is still ignited by subject matter. A unique image, he believes, comes about by a disciplined and oftentimes exhaustive approach. Knowing the payoff can be so rewarding, that commitment to detail ultimately renders a more compelling work.
