ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Photographing native flora from the Southern Hemisphere (in this case protea, leucadendron, eucalyptus) is always a interesting as they are so structural and textural. The challenge is to find emphasise their detail without them looking rigid and static. I chose a plain black background to emphasise the detail and beauty without any distractions. I hope viewers find these beautiful blooms as fascinating and beautiful as I do.
