The existence of a mask is not necessarily linked to the concept of fiction; on the contrary, in many contexts this element is linked to the final rite imposed on the human being: the funeral. This mask, which will be worn by everyone, literally or otherwise, is preceded by an unsuspectedly related duo: life and deeds. This dualism is meaningfully present in both childhood and adulthood, but it undergoes a perceptual transformation. Action and life are represented by hands, emblems of human doing. From the simple action of taking something to the symbolic imposition for the celebration of a cult; from soundless language to the symbolism of spirituality; from gestures with subjective purposes to the encounter between corporeal and incorporeal. The way in which life, action and death are connected, in every doing of man, lies in the impossibility of escaping from these: the human being, originally, receives life; with which he may choose(or not) to operate in the best possible way; finally, this will lead to the goal, the passing away. But this series of events is not to be labeled as pessimistic, fatalistic or otherwise, but simply as the natural sequence of existence. The composition, from which all derivation then flows, of Life.Action.Death comes from Pierre Molinier

I am a conceptual artist, using the mediums of photography and video art to explore human perception, not as a solution to discover the self, rather to go in search of human identity. Through visual analysis of different levels, both of person and culture, I seek an answer to what the true distinction between human being and animal might be, and what its ultimate purpose might be.This expedition into the meanderings of the meaning of the human being takes place through photography altered by post production and video ranging from computer graphics to discover visual perception, to the repetitive motion of actions that underlie contemporary human action. Starting from the nature of subjective discomforts, mainly my own, I explore the possibilities of human beings outside the boundaries that define them as "normal"(phobias, disorders, anxieties). This research has the ultimate goal of allowing those interested to have the right questions to ask themselves in order to be able to understand their own existence and thus to be able to discover what their purpose might be.
