About The Artwork
The Slow Paparazzo project is a product of the many encounters I've had with celebrities over the years. Wanting to commemorate the frisson of seeing someone famous in person without infringing on their privacy, I began taking photos of the places I had seen them, only after they'd moved on. I have been shooting this series since 2011. They are 100% genuine. In 2012, a group of early images were published in a book called Slow Paparazzo, published by The Ice Plant in Los Angeles.
