This is a self-portrait taken by the Atlantic Ocean, in Ocean City Maryland. Here I am playing a romantic lady who wants to date the love of her life, in the Ocean.I took this photograph to convey my love for water and the positive feeling that nature could bring to us; the beautiful moon from that evening complemented the scene. I'm a huge fan of Impressionism, so I was trying to recreate it in my outfit choice. Printed on Fine Art paper, signed, titled, numbered and dated on the back. Comes together with a certificate of authenticity. Limited edition 1/10.

United States
I am a self-taught fine art portrait and landscape Romanian photographer who currently is living in the United States. As an immigrant, it wasn't easy to adapt to the new environment. Photography came into my life like a tool that helped me to cope with loneliness, homesickness, anxiety, and fears and it made me want to express these emotions through images. Not only photography became a language with which I could communicate to people, but with myself. Because of my theatre background and because of self-exploring, I am "playing" some of the characters in my photographs. To create my art, I'm interested in storytelling that consists of strong emotions. I'm passionate about beauty, darkness, loneliness, death, passion, life, and I use symbolism, my personal experiences, and imagination to create meaningful images.
