Morning Dory Print

This dory is moored in the marsh adjacent to the Ogunquit River and Footbridge Beach in Ogunquit, Maine. No one seems to know how it got there, though the town looks after it now, moving it when needed, and decorating it at the holidays. I decided to photograph it one morning recently, at sunrise, and was greeting with soft, warm tones in the sky, as well as some fantastic textures in the grasses of the marsh. The image captures a sense of hope for me, and the idea of adventure awaiting.
