ABOUT THE ARTWORK
The reflection of the clouds in the water look like framed. I was fascinated by the hard lines in the image that contrast with the soft shapes of the clouds and the tidewater. The movement of the grass in the foreground is reminiscent of waves. The gentle swaying of the grass creates a delightful connection to the sea lying on the horizon. The viewer can dive into the depth of the image and feel its clarity. I have chosen the black / white to create the space for associations and to set a focus on the essential.
