In the moments before dawn, just before the sun spills over the horizon and across the landscape, I always smile with anticipation as I wait for the show to begin. I savor the days when I’m alone in nature, witnessing the world in all its perfection and capturing those fleeting moments of natural beauty. I love the craft of photography and the entire process of earning a photo that makes me proud- even the disappointing days when my shutter doesn’t click once. The white-out blizzards, stormy nights, and grueling hikes are always worth the dazzling golden sunrises, crimson last gasps of sun at day's end, and the crystal clear night skies staring out into infinity. It’s all a humble reminder that nature is always in charge, and no two days are the same.
