When I take a photograph I focus on the process that nothing else exists around me. I explore my subjects and see light, color and endless possibilities. I describe my work as vivid, sharply defined and layered. I love color and am drawn to compositions with many textures. Throughout life I have ventured into many fields but have always been drawn to creative pursuits such as clothing design, painting and ultimately photography. The beauty of nature originally inspired me to learn more about photography. I have perfected my technique over the years while living in Washington, Arizona and Utah. Many photographers feel they need to hike to remote destinations to get fresh, stunning landscape photographs but I feel, when the light is right, you can take a beautiful picture of anything. Just remember to "turn around" and look behind you --- there might be a better picture there. My photographs are constantly evolving. I have recently become interested in human subjects as well as computer enhancement. I value the entire process of developing my pictures into my own art, including the unlimited potential available with computer technology. I continue to perfect and develop my skills and style and want others to enjoy my work. I see beauty and opportunities all around me and try to show it in my "Photo-Art".
