ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This work revolves around the passing of time. The sundial represents this in two ways, firstly the sundial shows time on its face, yet it also shows time in its structure. Sundials in general represent an older time before digital or even mechanical clocks, the face of this sundial also shows time in its wear over the years. The scuffs on its surface also show the frailty of time and the degradation which everything is subjected to due to the passing of time.
