ABOUT THE ARTWORK
A gift for my wife, "Peony One" is a true labor of love, as it represents my first exploration of peonies in my studio. The interplay of light and shadow brings "Peony One" to life, transforming this bloom into a vision of enchantment. The delicate pink petals gracefully twist and turn, reminiscent of a ballerina donning a vibrant green skirt, caught in a dance of ethereal beauty. Peonies are my wife's favorite, but we don't often find them in Hawaii and, when we do, these blooms are ephemeral and last for just a few days. I take great joy in photographing these beautiful flowers to preserve them for my wife to enjoy for years to come. Giclée print on acid-free, pH-neutral 100% cotton archival quality paper with a premium smooth matte finish.
