"Portraits of young girl with Ficus" Fine Art Print

I am a fine art photographer whose work merges fantasy and reality, drawing inspiration from philosophical and literary thought. My images often evoke rarefied atmospheres that allude to parallel dimensions — an “off-screen” space beyond the visible, which becomes the true focal point of my work.

Central themes in my practice include identity, dreams, memory, and the unseen. These elements are explored through a personal visual language that remains in dialogue with the contemporary world.

I work primarily with natural light and analog film photography, although recent projects also incorporate artificial lighting and digital post-production.

My work has been included in the permanent collections of institutions such as MACN – Museum of Contemporary and Twentieth Century Art (Monsummano Terme, Italy) and the Fondo Malerba for Photography.

I have exhibited in numerous shows in Italy and abroad, and have received several recognitions, including the Celeste Prize (2009), Artelaguna Exhibition Prize, and the ITS Eight Talent Support Award for Pitti Immagine. I was also awarded the Silver Gonfalon of the Tuscany Region and received a special jury mention at the Talent Prize 2008.

Through photography, I aim to create poetic visions that resonate beyond the frame — inviting viewers to question what is seen and what remains hidden.
