The work is based on the thesis that we have lost the handling of materials through digitization and focuses on natural materials in their haptics and tactility, which is manifested in the analog recording medium. On the real image level, traces of alpine landscapes are shown that are characterized by climate change. According to the topic, I work with a camera obscura and use analogue recording material in large format. Color, material traces and a cool impression congure in the photographic representation.

In my artistic work I pursue two photographic perspectives. One concerns seeing and the situational reaction to external processes, for which I use digital photography. On the other hand, I work analogue, with the camera obscura and sheet films as recording media. This allows me a technical flexibility in the generation of images that cannot be implemented with digital photography. In contrast to the former, these images are created in the head and are not based on sight. The origin of the images lies in an introspection, which I then experimentally transfer technically to the medium of photography. Both objective information and subjective experiences, comments, emotions and sensory impressions play together and allow us to speak of socially critical and culturally relevant topics.
