Solar at Salar - Limited Edition of 8 Print

This photography was taken in the largest salt flat in the world, named Salar de Uyuni, in Bolivia. In the summer there is a brief period of rain in which the flats get covered in a thin sheet of water. This provides a giant mirror for reflecting the sky. I wanted to capture the light and colors and not focus on the landscape so I used intentional camera movement with long exposure to create this abstract atmosphere. I am a big fan of Mark Rothko's painting and I wanted to express the color and emotions associated with it rather than realistic details. This is a limited edition, 2 of 8 prints. All prints are signed, numbered and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity. My work is tailor made so I can print in whatever size is best for you. This is the canvas version but it is also available on paper on request. When printed in canvas there is a 6cm border in order to stretch on a wooden chassis and frame. When printed on paper the white border is 3cm. I always use fine art canvas or paper from either Hahnemühle or Canson.
