I am a creative photographer with a love for photographing botanical subjects, insects, frogs, reptiles, pretty much most close up nature. But I photograph much of it at home, in my mini home studio.
I have always been inspired by folklore, fantasy, paganism and fairy tales, so it is no surprise that this has influenced my photography. More recently in my Transcience project, a botanical photography project where I build up a personality of a plant based upon its history, meanings, uses, folklore and myths, then create images based upon some of the information. I create fleeting moments which cannot be replicated, using fluids or smoke, with colours and techniques to help tell the story.
