About The Artwork
This sunken cement ship has been at the Rio Del Mar pier, in Santa Cruz, California for years, I have photographed it before but was happy to get a close up of it and all the birds that live there at sunset. Unfortunately, the first week of 2023 brought torrential storms in California, and part of the pier has collapsed, the ship separated from it's home after 100 years.
