Michael Matousek was an artistic child prodigy working at a college level by the age of 8. As a young child he was greatly influenced by Salvador Dali, Georgia O'Keeffe, Maxfield Parrish, Thomas Hart Benton and Andrew Wyeth. In Michaels young years he attended a private grade school for talented children, where's artwork flourished. But by the time he reached College he could not afford to attend Art School. Over the next 40 years he worked retail jobs until moving to Santa Fe two years ago with the help of a art therapist he rediscovered his many talents. Today Michael works as a photographer, a painter, a ski instructor and a film actor in Santa Fe New Mexico.
