Supermodels Print - Limited Edition of 10

Supermodels I was a special envoy for Jornal Folha de São Paulo together with fashion journalist Lilian Pacce. We were tireless and insistent warriors to penetrate deeply into the world of Parisian fashion, which at the time had its doors closed to Brazil. Invitations to each fashion show were highly competitive, and we made a lot of effort to enter that closed circus, photograph, and interview the designers. This photo-reporter work was developed during 3 consecutive seasons in Paris, with daily photo shoots of 10 to 14 hours, always ending in a good restaurant with a good group of 'Fashionistas' who also visited the city of lights to see the fashion shows. The photos were taken with the Nikon F4 Camera, manual focus, handheld flash mixed with ambient light, 400 color film and developed in 'labs.1 hour' to choose the best photos directly from the negatives at the end of the day and send them to the newspaper for daily publication giving special and exclusive coverage of the event. Folha printed a photo of the major global fashion event on its front page every day. We struggled to get in, we bypassed security guards to get a good photo angle, to enter the dressing rooms and to follow the models for as long as possible, from their entrance through a side door to their quick exit to the left with some mysterious escort who, like a magically disappeared until the next parade. The 1990s were the time of Supermodels like; Claudia Schiffer,Linda Evangelista,Christy TurIington,Naomi Campbell, Eva Herzigová,Yasmim Gauree,Helena Christensen,Karen Mulder among others. Among the Models, Celebrities and celebrities you will see photos of Jacques Costeau, Catherine Denueve, Spike Lee, Beatrice DaIe, Steven MeiseI, Rossy de PaIma, Pedro AImodovar, Jean Paul GauItier, Yves Saint Laurent, CasaI Dee-Lite among others.
