Sculptor, mixed-media artist and photographer. I appreciate all forms of creativity and am highly influenced by the world around me. However, I do not usually take my visual influences directly from those creating in related mediums. Whether we like it or not, we all fit into some kind of category. I prefer to express myself with what's already inside and then see which global peers I can identify with (instead of trying to adopt any specific direction previously dictated by our predecessors). I do not think my approach is necessarily any more valid than anyone else's, I'm just doing what comes naturally (communicating in several different disciplines simultaneously).
