An up close photograph of a section of an abstract encaustic wax painting. The picture is about change. What you’re looking at is that process. Sometimes the results we get are really not what we intended. This is what I like to focus on. The unexpected, the unpredictable, the changes that we can't explain. That is one of the properties I like about wax. It can at times be unpredictable, uncontrollable, and unexplainable.
