Forests are an important element in this world, but unfortunately the development of technology in various parts of the world, including Indonesia, has caused many forests to be forcibly denuded or burned down just for the benefit of a company. It's sad that humans know that forests play an important role in making the oxygen we breathe today so we can stay alive, but unfortunately there are many dirty hands who only care about the continuity of their company regardless of how dangerous it is to say we run out of oxygen-making materials, through this work I I want to convey to all of them so that they can keep nature well. because the survival of living things depends on our actions to other living things. This is an article about deforestation that occurs in the forests of Kalimantan, Indonesia. : The island of Borneo is one of the lungs of the world because of its forest area, which is about 40.8 million hectares. Unfortunately the rate of deforestation in Kalimantan is so fast. According to data released by the Ministry of Forestry, the deforestation rate in Kalimantan from 2000 to 2005 reached around 1.23 million hectares.
