About the Artist

Mahdi Rostami

United States

I studied civil engineering but I never forgot my passion to become an artist. In elementary school I used to do drawing instead of doing my homework but my teachers also loved to see what is my next drawing. My first prize was in oil painting among high school students in our city back to 1999. Afterward I continued my self training by watching videos and practicing beside gifted talent to improve my skills. I worked as a graphic designer for 1 year then I started working on drawing and painting again.
When I visited the Boston Museum of Fine Art it came to my mind to find a way to bring my arts into public and I think here can be the start point.
