ABOUT THE ARTWORK
I use the historical cyanotype printing process to make photograms. I am inspired by nature and like to walk on the beach collecting seaweed, feathers and any interesting objects which I think will produce a good cyanotype print. This cyanotype print was made using seaweed collected from a tidal pool. These cyanotypes (blueprints / sunprints) are developed by the UV rays of the sun and are printed on good quality water colour paper. This print will look lovely in a beach house or any other interior where a touch of blue is required.
