About the Artist

Jared Anders

United States

I grew up in a small river town in Illinois. It was a great town, but devoid of any significant urbanscapes, graffiti, or street art, therefore, I was devoid of the exposure. There was art, but never in the form that interested me at the time. As a result, my brain became scewed left-heavy.
Through undergrad, I realized that I didn't even respect classes that didn't have math. To me, they weren't based on logic. (Left-brained thoughts)
I discovered photography during grad school. It's technical enough to satisfy my left, but also forces me to use my right. Turns out, I like that side too.
Let's celebrate our rights together.
