About The Artwork
My wife is a glass designer and works a lot with hand-blown art glass. This inspired me to create photomontages with this glass. I then experimented a lot with the glass and photos. One of these results is the present montage in which I have a nude photo of two young women with a floral background with a cleavage of the art glass. This created a completely new perspective on both elements. Meine Frau ist Glasdesigner und arbeitet viel mit mundgeblasenem Kunstglas. Das hat mich dazu angeregt mit diesem Glas Fotomontagen anzufertigen. Ich habe dann viel mit dem Glas und Fotos zu experimentiert. Eines dieser Ergebnisse ist die vorliegende Montage auf der der ich ein Aktfoto von zwei jungen Frauen mit floralem Hintergrund mit einem Ausschnitt des Kunstglases kombiniert habe. Dadurch ist eine völlig neue Sichtweise beider Elemente enstanden.
