Emma-Claire Fierce, artistically known as ECF, is a versatile artist specializing in ink drawings, low-reliefs, and sculptures. Originally based in France, she now resides in North America, drawing inspiration from her extensive travels across Japan, Europe, India, the Middle East, and North Africa. She began incorporating gold leaf into her work in 2009 and fully committed to this medium in 2020. ECF’s artistic journey began with ink drawings created using eyedroppers, crafting figures that conveyed natural movement and strength. Over time, she transitioned to larger-scale works and more sculptural forms, seeking greater freedom to express herself within what she calls the "Sphere"—a mental space where she disconnects from reality and enters a focused, creative state akin to an athlete’s "Zone." Her style leans toward abstract expressionism, characterized by bold energy and a distinctive worldview. As an extreme sports enthusiast, ECF often creates in outdoor natural settings, blending her physical experiences with her art. Her work aligns conceptually with land art but takes it further by using her body as a creative tool. Modern technologies help preserve these creations, reflecting the unique fusion of her physicality and artistic vision. ECF selectively exhibits her work in private venues and galleries across the globe, tailoring each project to specific requests and opportunities.
