Nana Sakura Rosalia Tinley Klimek, aka NANA S.R.T., is a visual artist working primarily in photography. Of Austrian-Japanese roots, she lives and works between London and Vienna. Introduced to the NikonFM by her father as a young teen, Nana's passion for photography was ignited and she shot her first personal photographic series aged 18. Soon after she moved to London and became involved in the dance scene whilst her photography remained a private pastime. In 2009, NSRT shot her first dance series entitled Move!, which is part of her public portfolio today. In 2019 NSRT decided to share some of her work publicly, making her debut at The Other Art Fair w Saatchi Art in Brooklyn, New York. Various prestigious art fairs have followed since, including Miami Art Week (2022 and 2023), Art Wynwood (Miami 2023), and Art Santa Fe (2023). NSRT's work has also been showcased in group exhibitions at esteemed locations such as Bergdorff Goodman in New York City and Parallel, Vienna. Her first book DAIDO LOVE launched at Offspring London, Peckham24 and Tokyo Street Photography Festival (JPN) in 2024. Daido Love is stocked in London at The Photographers Gallery, and Photobook Café, and in Vienna at Westlicht. Nana continues to immerse herself in the world of dance, drawing inspiration from it. However, by sharing some of her street photography in Daido Love, NSRT shows that her photographs not only represent dance but also the life, loves, sights, and people surrounding her. NANA S.R.T.’s work can be found in private collection in the United States and Europe.
