I have had a keen interest in all things art from a very young age which was instilled in me from my grandfather and have dabbled in oil and watercolour painting throughout my life . I think this is where I get my instinct for composition and treat every image no matter what the genre as a piece of art , I work tirelessly to ensure my images are far more than just a snapshot , the details have to be correct. This could be a photojournalistic piece on a sporting event or a waterfall in the middle of knowh ere at sunrise. The image and art deserves the same care and attention no matter the subject matter . Every image paints a picture for both the audience and myself . I try to tell the story of the image in the finished piece to give the audience a sense of meaning behind it and i use various techniques and elements within post processing to ensure the desired effect and message lands as intended . Reaction is key to any photographers work . To invoke feeling and reaction is the ultimate aim . This could be to calm , to excite , to inspire and even to sadden the viewer . We have to promote thought no matter what and I have developed my technique to achieve that . Anyway I hope you enjoy my lifes passion and my work as much as I do and you ultimately take something away from my images .
