Over the last year I spent several days walking on the coast from Westgate-on-Sea to Margate, in order to understand what made this place so inspiring for one of the greatest artists of the 19th Century, the English painter William Turner. As a photographer I feel there is a magical atmosphere which permeates the landscape, but it is always different.
