Dmitry Yurchenko was born in 30.09.1981 in Riga, Latvia. After his graduation from Yelgava Agricultural University as building engineer he had been involved in city development for over 6 years. From 2009 almost year and a half lived in Spain. From 2010 lived between Latvia and Estonia. Has been engaged in photography from 2009. Dmitry can`t imagine his photos without "human impact", i.e. there always has to be a "human factor" in the shot, not necessary a whole image, very often it is quite enough to have a small hint of human presence. From 2014, when his first child was born, Dmitry works on a long-term project called "Dacha" wich tells the story about childhood and children growing in summerhouse village near Laitse, Estonia.
