About The Artwork
I love it when landscapes, architecture, and sculptures are lit with colored gels. Another hidden world emerges. This image is from a new series of photographs captured at the San Diego Botanic Gardens Lightscape event (December 2022). The new works exude a wondrous surrealistic landscape. Natural settings become otherworldly, alien, and fantastical. A large portion of this series leans toward the abstract, emphasizing shadows, shapes, and forms. Photographic images can be intermixed or presented as a grouped series with a similar subject matter. I'm happy with this series of work. I was craving a new visual journey after years of hardship, death, and devastation. This traveling light show allowed me to dive into another realm of possibility in my work and life. I hope the new work injects the same wonder and magic I felt when witnessing the illuminated beauty in person. Enjoy!

I love capturing the strange allure of people, landscapes, locations, architecture, and found objects. As an LMGI guild member, I enjoy scouting locations. I often take pictures on daily excursions, finding new and exciting places to film. When visiting abroad, I take photographs of my adventures, looking for the right image to post on my gallery. Outside my love for photography and cinematography, I'm an actor and screenwriter. I create and work on original intellectual properties when not acting or producing. I have a creative background in theater production and fine art. When time permits, I love to go to life-drawing sessions.
