As an artist, KARBLIX started with oil painting on large wooden panels, then acrylic, and finally with traditional illustration before including airbrush. With the arrival of new technologies, the demand for graphics, illustrations and book covers having more or less disappeared (except for young children books), KARBLIX began to train herself in 3D and other forms of the digital age. Passionate about science, technology, SF, futurism, prehistory, distressed by global warming and the slow degradation of our beautiful planet, she foresaw the advance of artificial intelligence and other changes linked to future nanotechnologies. This fascination with our distant past and future led her to create a trilogy of graphic novels: SF fantasy, modelled in 3D and 2D rendering, 819 illustrated pages. Currently living in Paris Fr as a freelancer, she has also illustrated in Denmark. An active life never threatened by artificial intelligence, until now.
