The current endsars protest inspired these series of images. SARS is a special anti robbery unit of the Nigerian police that is suppose to help reduce the crime rate in the country. Rather than choose to perform their duties they profile innocent civilians as criminals, based on their appearance or possession of an iPhone, and extort money from them. If a citizen refuses to give them a bribe they arrest and detain that person indefinitely, sometimes they go as far as killing their victims. This image shows a Nigerian man trying to make some money at a peaceful protest in Nigeria.
