This collage is an overlay of two photographs. One photograph was taken at the coal mine 'Zollverein' in Essen and one was taken in Venice. Thus, metal technology contrasts with a frottage of an underwater photograph on tissue paper. The underwater statue and the shoal are hardly identifiable. The artwork is signed and dated in pencil on the reverse.
