ABOUT THE ARTWORK
The work was performed in the mixed technique of monotype and linocut. Full size with mat 40 x 40 cm, image 20 x 20 cm. Limited edition of 10 pic. Each copy is signed by the author on the reverse side. Originals are not currently sold. Work is available only in prints. The plot is inspired by the work of Provencal artists of the mid-20th century. The ancient streets of the cities of Provence do not leave anyone indifferent and for a long time carve into memory Valbonne is an unusual old town at the foot of the Maritime Alps, near Grasse, among vineyards and perfumery plantations. Some episodes of the movie "French Kiss" were filmed here. The magical atmosphere of the city attracts tourists from all over the world. Any artist who has been there is imbued with the art and culture of light graphics and an elegant line. The author inherits the principles and spirit of the Mediterranean and embodies it in his works.
