ABOUT THE ARTWORK
NYC is my perpetual inspiration with it's scenery, stories and abundant drama. New York is also my home, where my art studio is. Year 2020 delivered strange times and narratives. As much as hard and challenging it's becoming to stay in the City, it is inspiring and like no other. This work is about air of expectation about something big to happen and resolve our guessing about the future. Work started as a monotype print but I wanted to paint more on it's surface so I reproduced it and went about to paint with acrylics. It seem to be right decisions. If you agree and want to have it on your wall- it comes with certificate of authenticity and 'Made in NYC' stamp. Not much is made in NY this days, but the Art must go on!
